Creed é uma banda de Rock Alternativo norte-americana formada em 1995 na cidade de Tallahassee, originalmente idealizada pelos amigos Scott Stapp (vocal) e Mark Tremonti (guitarra).O grupo anunciou seu fim em 2004 ,desavenças entre Scott Stapp e Mark Tremonti,que na epoca tinha uma fase dificiu de sua vida,o grupo foi processa pelo fãs em chicago por scott esta toxicado,desmaido,sem meias e mal conseguia cantar,ele confessa que usou drogas e alussinogicos e tentou se seuicidar segundo muitos, . Mas em Abril de 2009, no entanto, o site oficial do Creed foi re-lançado, e um vídeo com nome "coming soon 2009" foi colocada na página inicial, o que confirma agora que a banda está de volta
